1. A newsgroup is an Internet site or platform where people can put information and opinions about a particular subject so they can be read by everyone who looks at the site.
*Conversation in news group is done through simple text messages.
*In Newsgroup, it is not a requirement for all group members to be active online before conversation can take place.
* Active members can post to the group whiles others are offline.
* Offline members who join the group later can also read the contents of the messages and respond appropriately.Â
